An internationally recognised provider of remote intervention technologies, used part of the 700m2 working area on the facilities private pier to undertake the first sea water trials of a new submersible which they produced for the Chinese Navy.

PSS used the sea loch to test the buoyancy of the submersible, along with testing it to depths of around 100m. The open space available on our pier meant members of the Chinese embassy were able to watch the trial and see the testing of their new equipment for themselves.
