We've got everything you need to conduct successful trials - and if you require something special, we can hire equipment at short notice. Because all of our facilities are in one loch-side complex, there's no need for long boat or bus rides that will eat into your day – making the most of your time on the water.

Deep Water Pier

There is no need to hire boats to take you and your equipment all the way out to sea for trials - just transport your equipment to the Fort William Underwater Trials Centre by road (we're only a 2 hour drive north of Glasgow). We can provide heavy lift cranes and have access to secure storage 24/7.

The pier, which is mainly used for mobilising and de-mobilising test equipment, is situated in Corpach just next to the Great Glen Canal entrance. The pier is only 3 miles from Fort William town centre and it is an easy 15 minute transit to our test sites by Fast Rescue Craft.

We also have access to sea from the town centre via the new pontoon at the West End car park. This is ideal for clients and/or visiting reps, with a short 5 minute transit to the test sites

Equipment and Vessels

The Underwater Trials Centre has a huge range of equipment and vessels available for you to use in your trial, and if there's something you need that we don't have, we can hire it in at short notice.

Because we're also a working training site we have a number of vessels available (3 barges, a tug and 2 RIBs). We can provide diving equipment and divers, ROVs (and staff to operate them), tools and machinery.
